Gerda Stetter Stiftung - Technik macht Spaß

Germany

The Gerda Stetter Foundation, committed to educating young people in the use and knowledge of technology, turns its slogan "Technology is fun!" into much more than just a phrase.

Its objectives include teaching while having fun, social justice, specific support for girls and women in technical professions and the training of skilled workers for the future. 

It collaborates with numerous universities and, very much in line with the "snowball effect", in recent years they have trained more than 500 students as technology trainers, who in turn have taught more than 4,500 children with fun methods and hands-on workshops.

Sergio Alonso Foundation

Spain

Among the objectives of the Sergio Alonso Foundation stands out the contribution to the development of educational and training projects with special emphasis on the field of Vocational Training. Since 2017, it has been collaborating with numerous centers that stand out in areas such as computer science, electronics or robotics.

During the year 2022, it carried out the FP Plus educational innovation program, an initiative that trained around 70 students from 19 educational centers. In September of the same year, the Sergio Alonso Foundation, together with the Gerda Stetter Foundation, launched the project In the same code, within the framework of the Erasmus + programs.

FINNOVAREGIO

Belgium

Founded in 2009 and based in Belgium, it supports the financing of innovation in companies, regions and municipalities, promoting multiple networks and high-level events in order to seek European resources and funding .

Its projects focus, among others, on sustainability, new technologies and renewable energies, participating in several European programs, such as LIFE+, Ecoinnovation or Erasmus+.

Since 2012 they have trained more than 500 young people in the EU in financing and have carried out initiatives to promote the use of new technologies among young people, such as the Finnova Challenges - Junior Startup Europe Awards.

GBS St.Gallen

Switzerland

The center aims to teach students with the highest possible quality. To this end, it tries to offer variety in its courses, offering up to 70 different courses a week to more than 6,000 students. GBS St.Gallen is part of an international network and collaborates with partner schools in Finland, Portugal, Reykjavik and Tirana.

It also specializes in the field of IoT (Internet of Things). In the new international EduDemoS project, they are in charge of connecting the sustainable demonstrators to the IoT platform that will collect data from all devices.

El Rincón High School

Spain

IES El Rincón is part of the national network of centers of excellence in vocational training for the family of Computer Science and Communications. It aims to provide the necessary digital tools to achieve two advances: on the one hand, that students acquire sufficient skills to function safely in today's digital world, acquiring resilience and critical thinking; and on the other hand, maintaining the focus on sustainability and ecological thinking .

The center has been developing European projects since 1996, which is why they consider their participation in the Erasmus+ Program to be fundamental.
