EduDemoS

Training in digital and sustainable skills as a key tool for young people and teachers for a greener Europe

The ecological transition and sustainable development are essential to achieve the climate neutrality established by the European Green Pact. This is compounded by the great digital leap made by all sectors, especially the technology sector, following the pandemic, which has increased the demand for more technical profiles.

EduDemoS arises in response to all this. The partners that make up the project are very aware of the important role that education and training play, both for teachers and students, to train the next generations and provide them with the skills and tools that will allow them to be competitive in a constantly changing market.

We will carry out three key actions to achieve our goal: the design of three sustainable demonstrator models that will be easily replicable, with the aim that students will later devise their own; a "step-by-step" guide to develop each model; and finally, open source software for teachers and students across Europe.

We collaborate in this project with the Gerda Stetter Foundation, Germany; the Sergio Alonso Foundation and IES El Rincón, Spain; the Finnovaregio Foundation , Belgium; and GBS St. Gallen, Switzerland; contributing our experience in areas such as training, innovation and technology.

The trajectory and the knowledge that together we add gives rise to EduDemoS, a project that will promote a fun and innovative training, educating in sustainability and motivating and encouraging young students to obtain the necessary digital tools for their future.
