The EduDemoS baton is now in the hands of the teachers! Last weekend we held the Teacher Academy in Gran Canaria and thus started the training of the teachers who will guide the students throughout the project. Our academy was attended by teachers from two of the project partners, IES El Rincón and GBS St. Gallen, as well as from schools such as IES Luis Vives in Madrid and CIFP Majada Marcial in Madrid. During the days of Friday 25 and Saturday 26 October, the designed demonstrators became the undisputed protagonists of a meeting in which the masters took the lead. The NEXO Room of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was the place where the attendees learned how to assemble the developed prototypes, both the mechanical and the electronic and programming parts. programming.
What's more, the learning didn't end there, as the second day even included a workshop on IoT (Internet of Things), led by professors from the GBS St.Gallen center in Switzerland and key to the future connection of the demonstrators.
In addition, we also took the opportunity to hold a Transnational Project Meeting of the partners. A session in which both the Gerda Stetter Foundation and the Finnovaregio Foundation were also present. During the meeting we determined and set the next lines of action to be followed by the project, which from now on will focus on workshops and multiplier events.
