Our sustainable demonstrators have passed their first test at Maker Faire 2024 with flying colors! This event, held in Hannover, was the stage on which we were able to present our project to an audience very interested in MINT.
During the days of August 18 and 19, our models were available to all the guests attending the fair in Germany. Hundreds of them showed their interest in EduDemoS, as well as in our three sustainable prototypes: solar demonstrator, dew water collector and wind energy demonstrator. The attendees had the opportunity to put the designs into operation, to touch them, to turn them and to discover how they work, testing both their mechanics and their electronics.
Not only did they try them out, but they also really got into our initiative and wanted to know more about the main points behind this EU-funded proposal. In fact, some even made suggestions on how the models could be optimized, while others were interested in the assembly guide to learn how to assemble them themselves.
The Maker Faire was nothing more and nothing less than the first presentation of EduDemoS to such a large audience and we can say that the response has been a great success. After such positive feedback, we are more excited than ever to continue developing this educational project and to continue inspiring enthusiasm for MINT!
