The 'EduDemoS' project is progressing by leaps and bounds and we are pleased to announce that we now have demonstrators that you can build yourself, either in your vocational school or at school, with the help of your teachers. One of the first demonstrators we have developed in collaboration with the Gerda Stetter Foundation is this innovative turtle designed to capture solar energy.
Each of our demonstrators consists of three key parts:
- Mechanical part: these are the physical components of the demonstrator that can be created by 3D printing. You can download the files needed to print these parts from this link.
- Electronic part: this component allows your tortoise to efficiently capture solar energy and operate at its maximum potential.
- Programming part: this is the software that allows your turtle to work and collect data, which we will soon share through an IoT platform. You can access the code through this link.
To help you successfully build this demonstrator, we have developed a complete guide that you can follow step by step.
