The work to achieve a future in which the active fight against climate change is possible does not stop. On June 7 we held another quarterly coordination meeting in which the main members of the EduDemoS team met: Gerda Stetter Foundation, Sergio Alonso Foundation, Finnovaregio Foundation, IES El Rincón and GBS St. Gallen

This virtual session focused on the progress achieved in each of the sustainable demonstrators (water, sun and wind). These models will enable ecological and digital transformation, and their design has had the participation of students from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). Once they are finished, they will be taken to the educational centers for their implementation.

In addition, during the conference we were also able to learn about other demonstrator proposals. Among them, the AgroSOS and Vertical Garden initiatives stood out.

Thanks to this meeting, we were able to monitor and share the actions that are currently underway. On the one hand, the Gerda Stetter Foundation continues with the design of the demonstrators, as well as with their improvements and tests. On the other hand, GBS St. Gallen continues to develop the IoT (Internet of Things) platform that will be adapted and integrated into these models. The Sergio Alonso Foundation is designing the guides that will guide students and teachers in the construction of the sustainable demonstrators.

As for the next steps of EduDemoS, in the coming months we will hold the Teachers' Academy in Switzerland, which will be attended by five teachers from IES El Rincón and another five from GBS St. Gallen in September.

Soon the pieces will fit together even better to complete Europe's green puzzle!
